Welcome to the First Responder Prayer Wall

Our first responders need your prayers now more than ever. This interactive prayer wall will give you the opportunity to pray for requests submitted by individual first responders, their families, and those who care about them. When you push the “I prayed for this” button, the submitter will be informed by email of your anonymous petition to God on their behalf. Who knows how God will use your prayers, in His perfect timing, to encourage one of our first responder heroes or their families in a critical time of need.

Please pray for the family, friends, and partners of Deputy Daniel Jacks Jr and his daughter Hannah who were both killed by a suspected drunk driver while driving home from Disneyland where Hannah worked. Deputy Jacks worked as a correctional officer for Riverside County.

Please pray for the family and partners of Nicholas Vella, a 14 year Huntington Beach police officer who was killed last night in a helicopter crash in the waters off of Newport Beach. Pray for Pilot Nick Vella’s family, Newport Dispatch, who handled the incident, our HBPD dispatch & department who listened feeling helpless during the incident

The mechanics who are having a really tough time. Also lift up the surviving officer, this has been devastating to him, being very thankful for his own survival but devastated by the loss of his partner.

Please pray for the family and partners of Capt. Max Fortuna who was a 21-year veteran of the the Stockton Fire Dept. Capt. Fortuna was shot and killed while responding to a dumpster fire on Jan. 31st at 4:45 am in downtown Stockton. He was 47 years old and is survived by his wife and two grown children. Fire Chief Rick Edwards stated "I'm devastated to report that Fire Captain Max Fortuna has succumbed to his injuries. This is my worst nightmare as a fire chief. My message to my firefighters is to be strong, my heart breaks with you, but we will get through this."

Please pray for the family and coworkers of Deputy Charles Galloway. Charles was a 12 year veteran of Harris County Pct 5, and was shot and killed during a traffic stop in the southwest region of Houston. Please pray that the killer is found and brought to justice.

Please pray for the families and partners of NYPD Officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora who were shot and killed last week in Harlem, New York. Rookie Officer Rivera was fatally wounded at the scene and Officer Mora died a week later in ICU. Officers Rivera and Mora had been dispatched to a domestic disturbance call.

Every LE officer knows that domestic disputes can be the most dangerous incidents to respond to.
